One of his side business he made almost $200k in profit in the first year!
Chris is well known for being the husband to Dr. Tammara Williams, an entrepreneur, a father to his sons and a community leader in his local area.
Chris Williams grew up in Gainesville Florida. The youngest in a blended family, they grew up not having much. But his mother was determined to ensure they never felt lack.
Chris enjoyed and played track & field and basketball throughout his high school years.
But his struggles as a youth started with his health born a severe asthmatic, he was in and out of the hospital all the time with near death experiences. His brother was killed in a car accident and other brothers found themselves caught in the street life.
After a series of tragic events, his mother decided during his junior year of high school to move away from Gainesville to Atlanta, Georgia in 1999.
Starting over was hard but the best things that saved Chris' life at the time. Attending Morris Brown College gave Chris a new outlook on life and who he was as a person.
Opportunity struck after his his then mentor offered him to move to Charlotte, North Carolina to help start a satellite church of Newbirth Atlanta. The power of yes and willingness to something unfamiliar set him on a new path in 2003.
In 2004, Chris started his corporate journey working for Wells Fargo Bank as an administrative assistant.
The first time he ever talked in front of people in a corporate setting was due to his manager calling out sick one day and she could no longer give a presentation. Chris had helped build the deck, but never once thought he would have to present the information.
He sweated out his suit while standing in front of leaders. But they were happy with the results and moved on. One person sitting in that presentation was from the Learning & Development department of the company. They asked if he would think about joining their team. Again, he said yes!
Immediately Chris excelled at training and found his love for being in front of the room. His excitement was to see the 'lightbulb' moment happen for those he trained.
Becoming one of the top sought after trainers, he tried his hand at other ventures as a side business. Everything from selling Kirby Vacuums, Network Marketing, his own radio show, etc. all fell flat but he learned a lot.
His first successful side business came from the direct sells industry with health and wellness products. His first check was over $7,000 and in his first year he and his wife did almost $200,000 PART TIME!
He knew then he had something and could teach others how to do the same.
